Annual Celebrations : The 48 th Annual Celebrations were held from January 18 to 21. As part of the celebration an educational exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Sunanda Sanyal, an eminent educationist. Almost all the students of the vidyalaya were involved in the exhibition. All the days the exhibition attracted thousands of guardians and guests. There were both educational and cultural programmes on all those days of the exhibition. On January 19, Mr. Amarendra Chakraborty, Editor of "Bhraman", a renowned tourism magazine and also a famous peregrinator delivered a talk along with CDs in the V.C. Hall of the Ashrama on the famous landscapes of the modern world. Students of classes V and VI staged a programme of 'Go As You Like' in the Mango Grove in front of the vidyalaya Senior Section on January 20 at 2 p.m. A movie entitled "Narnia" was screened in the evening of the same day.

The Annual Prize giving ceremony of the vidyalaya was held on January 21, 2007 . Dr. Nikhil Ranjan Bandyopahdyay, vice-chancellor, Shibpur Bengal Engineering and Science University , Howrah presided over the meeting and gave away the prizes to the students for their achievements in different curricular and co-curricular activities. More than 200 boys received prizes and certificates and medals. About 50 students of other schools received prizes and certificates for their commendable performance in the Inter School Essay Writing and Elocution Contest.

The Post celebration get-together of teachers and students were held on February 14 in the Vivekananda Centenary Hall. Swami Asaktanandaji Maharaj presided over the meeting and gave away the prizes and trophies to the selected participants for their commendable performance.
