The existing small temple, which was constructed during the tenure of Swami Akandanandaji Maharaj in 1928, has an excellent and serene atmosphere for meditation. Mangal aarati, daily worship, evening vesper services and weekly scriptural discourses are being conducted in the temple in the presence of inmate and devotees. Initiation of devotees by the most revered President Maharaj and Vice-president Maharaj at regular intervals adds to the spiritual ambience of the Ashrama. Moreover, birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, Swami Vivekananda and other apostles of Sri Ramakrishna, Christamas Eve, Buddha Purnima,Sri Krishna Janmastami, Rama Navami, fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan and other religious festivals are observed with due solemnity.
Book Sales : Books on religion, philosophy including Ramakrishna Vivekananda literature are available for sale in English and Bengali. Along with these books, photos, postcards, and posters of Sri Ramakrishna , Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda as well as audio cassettes and CDs (Audio & Video) of bhajans and discourses are available for sale in the Ashrama.
