Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Sargachi, runs a hostel named Vidyarthi Bhawan for the students who are studying in our High School. There are about 66 students who hail from the different districts of West Bengal. It is housed in a large two-storied building with separate prayer hall, study hall, big hall for indoor games, kitchen, library, play ground etc. The idea of love, fellow-feeling and understanding form the basis of life in the hostel. Students from classes V to X reside in the hostel. Monks and the house-masters play a vital role in maintaining the congenial atmosphere for the overall development of the students.
The boys are admitted to the Vidyarthi Bhawan in class V after a screening test usually held in March every year. The students of the hostel has made an excellent tradition of good results over the years.
